ChemSketch Freeware is offered at no cost to academic institutions, or for personal use for your at-home studies. It is Open Source software, distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License. Tux Paint is free of cost and free of advertisements.

The latest version of Tux Paint runs on a variety of platforms, including Windows (Vista and later), macOS (10.10 and later), Linux, Android, Haiku, and more. Tux Paint 0.9.30 and friends have been released and are available for Microsoft Windows, Apple macOS, Android (via Google Play Store), Android (via F-Droid), Android (direct download), Red Hat Linux, Haiku, Slackware Linux, various Linux distributions (via Flatpak).
